HaloSource™, the manufacturer of HaloKlear brand products, recycled almost 900,000 pounds of crab, lobster and shrimp shells in 2007. Often, this waste would have been abandoned by processing companies and discarded into landfills. HaloKlear not only uses the recycled chitosan in our products and keeps it out of landfills, but also uses it to clean and protect the environment, thereby helping to keep our streams and water sources safe for generations to come.
