StormKlear LiquiFloc™ Maximum Strength 3% Obtains Washington State DOE Conditional Use Level Designation (CULD)

Seattle, WA- StormKlear is proud to announce that its StormKlear LiquiFloc Maximum Strength 3% solution has obtained a Conditional Use Level Designation (CULD) with the Washington State Department of Ecology.

StormKlear LiquiFloc Maximum Strength 3% is the strongest concentration of liquid chitosan on the market and is perfect for high-turbidity, high-volume sites. In addition, this concentrated formula saves users money on product cost, shipping and storage.

StormKlear LiquiFloc 1%, another product by StormKlear, still remains the only chitosan-based product with a General Use Level Designation in the state of Washington. StormKlear LiquiFloc products are used to treat suspended sediment in construction storm water.

These proprietary chitosan formulas coagulate suspended particles when added to untreated storm water, which neutralizes the negative static electrical charge on soil particles allowing them to be flocked together and filtered out.

StormKlear LiquiFloc incorporates liquid injection with gravity settling, infiltration and filtration and was formulated specifically to treat sediment that will not settle out by gravity alone.
